in September, 1978 and ended its run 114 episodes later, in July, 1983. It was
originally based on an article in a 1978 issue of the New Yorker. It
gathered many awards, and is still considered as one of the greatest
sitcoms in the history of television.
Taxi was produced by John Charles
Walters Productions in association with Paramount Television. This
